Clinician-led care and science-backed recovery technology, under one roof in Parnell

EMSELLA® is a chair that works the pelvic floor muscles while you sit fully clothed. It's available for women and men at VIP Health's Recovery Lab in Parnell.
The chair uses focused electromagnetic energy to make the pelvic floor muscles contract repeatedly while you sit. It's non-invasive, and there's no need to undress.
You sit on the chair in your normal clothes. Most people feel tingling and a tightening of the pelvic floor muscles, and the intensity is adjusted to your comfort. You can go straight back to your day afterwards. The team will talk you through how many sessions suit you.
EMSELLA® isn't suitable for everyone. Before your first session, a short screening checks your health history to make sure it's right for you. If you have a medical condition or are pregnant, please check with your doctor before booking.
Pelvic floor and core strength are often part of a wider plan. Some clients use EMSELLA® alongside a Rehab Lab program or chiropractic care.
